Works are well under way to add the extra 50 spaces to the car park to the north of The Bell and Village Square. The first phase will take approximately three weeks
The work will involve 80 trucks of spoil transferred to neighbouring land, the creation of an entrance to the car park from Milk Maid’s Alley and the provision of a new access to the football field for maintenance vehicles.
The full scheme for the car park will also involve a provision of new accessible blue badge holder parking bays and EV charging points.
