Francesca Nowne (Clerk)

Francesca has been Clerk to the Parish Council for 20 years and forms the communication and administrative backbone of the Council. Francesca plays a key role in delivering the service of the Parish Council and continually develops her knowledge in order to best advise the Council Members, recently completing her Honours Degree in Community Governance as part of that personal development.  Francesca was nominated for Clerk of the Year in the National Association of Local Councils (NALC) Star Council Awards 2018.   For the last 29 years, Francesca has served as a Magistrate in the adult criminal courts,  youth criminal courts and the family courts and is the South East National Magistrates representative for our area.  In business life, Francesca runs an arboricultural consultancy and tree surgery business and part owns Smart Bits Telephone Accessories Ltd.
