Local Plan HEELA Policies that are relevant
Last night’s Parish Council meeting showed the level of public concern around the call for sites process in the Rother Local Plan draft. As discussed at the meeting, it is important that people write in to Rother with their concerns individually, as numbers of responses are counted, comments are based on planning policy wherever possible and views on cultural issues are not made. The sites should be reviewed based upon their suitability for housing, of any kind, and we firmly believe that the sites suggested fail to meet both Rother criteria for housing sites and the requirements of the Ticehurst Parish Neighbourhood Plan.
